Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling
Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling approach is best known for selecting many different concepts and methods from a variety of approaches. This approach is creative as it combines several different therapeutic approaches and will combine those techniques depending on the needs of the client.
‘Integrative’ is a fusion of different techniques and it also refers to the ‘integration’ of the personality and needs of the client in the therapeutic work. This brings together the affective, cognitive, behavioural and physiological systems within one person, delivering a tailor-made package to address the clients’ needs.
One size does not fit all, so a wealth of therapeutic interventions can be used in order to support an individual. The aim of an integrative psychotherapy is to facilitate wholeness such that the quality of the person’s life and experiences are maximized whilst maintaining appropriate regard for each individual’s own personal limits and external constraints.
Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and therapy can be supportive for any issue and individual experience.
