Clinical Assessments

A Clinical Assessment is generally carried out for the majority of clients in the initial stages of consultation. This process will usually take up to two hours, however occasionally it might be more appropriate to complete the assessment in two sessions.

During the assessment multiple techniques are used in order to assess cognitive and emotional functioning. There are specifically designed activities and exploration techniques / tools which are used to objectively evaluate, therefore enabling a productive individually tailored plan for the individual. The assessment is particularly effective in identifying any underlying issues which may be manifesting and presenting as problematic in a client’s daily life.

The result is that a full clinical assessment provides a holistic approach that ascertains the best and most effective therapeutic support/ treatment plan for the client and is therefore an essential starting point for a healing journey /process.
