About Fran Kerr
Fran Kerr is a qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapeutic child counsellor, clinical supervisor, therapist, emdr practitioner and senior qualified hypnotherapist offering short and long term therapies with adults, teenagers, children and families.
She is a qualified supervisor and holds a supervision diploma in person centred therapy but works intergratively.
Additionally Fran offers and delivers a variety of training packages to schools Local Authorities and agencies, groups and individuals.
She is an accredited Member of:

Fran is fully committed to providing therapies and counselling in a safe, calm environment where confidentiality is fully respected. Her initial consultation session will offer an opportunity for you to share your concerns and for Fran to assess which approach would be best suited to your needs. It takes courage and commitment to consider counselling or therapy but it is well worth the investment. Fran works with individuals across all age groups.
Fran attends regular continued professional development enabling her to fully support her clients through what may be very challenging times for them and has several regular supervisions a month in integrative psychotherapeutic counselling, hypnotherapy and EMDR . Supervision is a statutory requirement to ensure her therapy is of the highest standard.
Fran is a qualified and accredited member of UKCP and is a member of MBACP, which means she has reached a recognised higher level of competence and experience. She is also a member of many organisations that cover and govern the practice of the skills she is trained in. She practises a form of therapy where the client and their needs are the sole focus rather than trying to make one size/ technique fit all. She is able to ascertain and to explore with you the techniques that will suit an individual and at a pace and timing which is the most comfortable and beneficial for you.
During her counselling and therapeutic career she has gained an extensive knowledge and appreciation of a variety of issues that can affect everyday life. She has worked in schools with parents and children, in private practice and within organisations, working with adults, children and families covering many areas including her specialisms of attachment, trauma and dissociation.

On a personal level, she is married with four children. When not working, she is usually spending time with her family and friends. She also has a love of walking, reading and researching.
